What is Vestibular Rehab?
Our Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT) program is designed for patients experiencing vertigo, dizziness, tinnitus and balance problems.
Treatment plans are dependant on having a clear understanding of your diagnosis and developed on a case to case basis. Our program addresses your vestibular condition from multiple perspectives including physical rehabilitation (balance training), Visual tracking, cognitive training, psychological counselling (CBT), spinal manipulation, spinal decompression therapy (if vertigo is cervicogenic) and animal assisted rehab.
Expected Outcomes:
- Increased function
- Improved coordination and balance
- Reduction in vertigo episodes
The Vestibular Therapy program is delivered over the course of 16 weeks.

Patient Eligibility
Candidates for this program must be at least 5 years of age. The clinical director will screen you to ascertain whether or not you are an appropriate candidate for this program. The clinical director will also triage you to the most appropriate clinical providers for your care. Participants receive self management education. Objective testing is performed to measure each participant’s progress toward goals.
Course of Treatment:
The program is delivered over a 16 week program with a special focus on self management. Progress will depend on specific vestibular deficits.
