Missed Appointments & Cancellation Policy
Appointment Policy
At SPINEgroup ™, we take your health seriously. When you book an appointment, that time is reserved for you. Missed appointments prevent us from accommodating other patients and adds to significant stress on our staff and clinicians.
A minimum 48-hour notice during business days is required when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. Failure to do so will result in a full charge of the appointment. Future appointments will be denied until payment is made.
MISSED, NO SHOW or CANCELLATIONS – If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be required to pay the full charge of the appointment. If you cancel your appointment for any reason (including sickness, storms, emergencies, etc.) outside of the 48-hour notice period, you will be required to pay the full charge of the appointment.
In the case of any publicly funded appointments, you will lose that appointment and risk discharge from the program.
ARRIVING LATE –If you arrive late, your treatment may be shortened in order to accommodate other patients whose appointments follows yours. Depending upon how late you arrive and appointment time lost, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible to pay for the full session; however, we will do our best to satisfy the scheduled time.
In some cases, Missed Appointment fees cannot be direct billed. You can pay for missed appointments by Cash, Debit, Visa or Mastercard. We can give you a receipt for the service you have late cancelled or missed that you are welcome to submit to your insurance provider.
We understand. If an emergency situation arises, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can treat your situation with personal attention. We recognize that there are circumstances that are out of your control (storms, sudden illness, family emergencies, etc.) In certain cases, we will make an exception by rescheduling your appointment within the same week or you will be given an option for a virtual appointment.
