Physiotherapist
SPINEgroup is hiring motivated Physiotherapists, Registered PTs/PT Residents.

Join our team at SPINEgroup as Physiotherapist as we work together to deliver compassionate care that is responsive to the healthcare needs of our community.
We are seeking one (1) full time or (2) part time physiotherapists who will lead our Physiotherapy program.
Part time hours: 14 -22.5 hours per week
Full time hours: 36-40 hours per week
Salary range:
$45 to $52/hour. Up to approximately 93-108k/year salary for full time work. Remuneration will be based on the applicant’s level of skills and experience. Physiotherapy residents start at a lower range. (No fee splitting, hours are guaranteed.)

- SPINEgroup has been selected to join a large rehab network who is engaged with large Ontario member organizations and insurers as their preferred provider., This elite group will be developing transformational primary care model for MSK services that will transform how MSK services are delivered in Ontario. This program will leverage physiotherapists to practise at full scope, i.e., enable physiotherapy clinics to provide primary care services and obtain diagnostic imaging quickly when patients do not have family physicians or when family physicians are unavailable. They will also be developing multiple streams to enable access to medical physicians more broadly and a proprietary portal that will enhance collaborations and provide a pathway for specialist consultations.

Our Patient Population:
- Publicly Funded (OHIP) Physiotherapy
- Bundled Care Post-Surgical Rehab for Hips and Knees
- GLAD program for His and Knees OA
- Rapid Access Clinic for Low Back Pain
- Extended health care patients (sports / acute / chronic injuries/Vertigo/Vestibular Conditions)
- Workplace safety & insurance board (WSIB) patients
- Motor vehicle accident (MVA) patients
- Post-surgical patients (private)
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy (MSc PT) or Doctorate D.PT
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- PT residents must have their provisional license and mentor.
- Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and/or the Ontario Physiotherapy Association is an asset
- 2-5 years of previous Physiotherapist experience is preferred. Experience working with the senior population is required
- Community experience and knowledge of community resources is required
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Able to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team
- Able to work independently
- Access to a vehicle
- Attendance and discipline free record is a requirement
- Additional training in spinal/joint manipulation, vestibular rehab training and acupuncture is an asset
- Experience with back pain, orthopaedic conditions, chronic pain, vestibular conditions such as vertigo is an asset
COVID 19 and Hygiene Practices:
SPINEgroup has enhanced hygiene and disinfectant practices to keep both patients and staff safe. You MUST be at least double vaccinated for COVID 19 to apply. Proof of vaccination will be required. We have installed plexiglass barriers and have several air purifiers throughout the clinic. Hand washing stations and hand sanitizers are also available. Both staff and patients are required to wear masks and patients are screened.

Medical Office Administrator
SPINEgroup is a multi-disciplinary rehab clinic located in Vaughan.
We are seeking 1 MOA for a permanent full time position or part time position.
If you have at least 2-3 years experience working as a MOA in a busy medical office or rehab clinic then this position is for you!
Your ability to speak and understand Italian in an asset.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall supervision and operation of the office through the effective and reliable of execution of daily tasks.
- Full understanding of the rehab industry and active participation in fulfilling the needs of our patients and staff.
- Answer telephones, emails, and other patient inquiries in a courteous manner
- Schedule appointments and billing patients
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Manage clinic flow and organization
- Communicate with patients and therapists
- Maintain a pleasant and patient-centred atmosphere
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
Requirements:
- 2-3 years or more as an medical office administrator or relevant role in a medical or rehab clinic
– possess a high skill in the use of Electronic Medical Software (EMR) in particular Abelmed, Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as the ability to quickly learn other new online platforms.
– must live within a 30 km radius to the clinic and have access to a vehicle
– College or University Diploma preferred Administrative and/or medical assistant experience preferred· Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Excellent knowledge of EMR systems, (we use Abelmed Software), MS Office and office management software
- Detail oriented Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrate competence related to the application of our core values

- Demonstrates competence in leadership, communication, professionalism, organizational and analytical skills, and technical/professional skills

Medical Physician
SPINEgroup, Vaughan (7611 Pine Valley Drive, Unit 1)
SPINEgroup Med-Rehab is offering a unique clinical experience. We are looking for 1 full time or part time Family Physician and 1 rotational Medical Pain Specialist (Orthopaedic physician, Rheumatologist, Sports Medicine and/or Physiatrist) for a our “executive style” health clinic and walk in hours located in central Vaughan.
Clinic model:
- Comprehensive Health Assessments (reimbursement will include OHIP plus payment for noninsured services)
- Chronic Disease Prevention and Management program (diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, depression, etc)
