Advanced Spine Care Program
Our Advanced Spine Care Program is our Elite program for complex cases of low back, thoracic or neck pain. This one-of-a-kind program in North America offers a comprehensive, non-surgical, long-term solution to your spine pain condition. Complex causes of spine pain are always multi-factorial, meaning there are multiple causes for your long-standing pain and disability. These include systemic inflammation and higher rates of arthritic degeneration caused by the foods we eat (and don’t eat) and weight gain, inactivity and the postural strains we maintain in our daily lives.
The Advanced Spine Care Program is designed for many complex spinal injuries and conditions including herniated discs, lumbar radiculopathy, sciatica pain, moderate to severe disc degeneration, scoliosis and other abnormal curvatures of the spine and spinal stenosis in the neck or lumbar spine. These conditions typically cause local spine pain and stiffness and/or extremity (leg or arm) pain, heaviness, weakness and numbness/tingling.
Based on our integrated team modelled approach, the Advanced Spine Care Program is suitable for those patients who are looking for a speedier and long-term solution to their spine condition.
The program is delivered by our clinical director (chiropractor) together with an expert team of clinicians as required including a Physiotherapist, Massage therapist, Physical Medicine Specialist, Naturopath and Dietitian. The program will include all necessary components to educate you on the underlying cause of your condition and provide you with all the tools you need to manage your condition quickly and for the long term.
Examples of treatment in this program include, dietary counselling for weight loss and healthy eating, naturopathic medicine for effective supplementation to increase cellular regeneration and healing, chiropractic for spinal and biomechanical and postural correction, advanced modalities, including laser tx and shockwave for speedier tissue healing and regeneration and mechanical flexion and spinal decompression therapy to enable vertebral spacing; physiotherapy for rehabilitation for spinal stabilization; counselling and pain management.
Our program follows the most current back pain clinical guidelines including the Towards Optimized Practice (TOP) Evidence-Informed Primary Care Management of Low Back Pain, European Low Back Pain Series of Guidelines and the Neck Task Force Guidelines for neck pain.
