We all know that people are living longer and this means that seniors will need more care as they age. Today, seniors make up over 13% of the general population* However, by 2036, there will be almost 11.5 million seniors in Canada*   * -Portrait of Seniors

SPINEgroup is offering private, on-one-one rehab rehab services for seniors. Our objective is to provide rehab services for our seniors to keep them living independantly and safely with the highest quality of life.

The same quality of care provided by SPINEgroup rehab programs will now be available in your homes.


Our Home Rehab Program is designed to meet the health needs of seniors suffering with physical and/or cogntive impairments, including depression, dementia, cardiovascular disease, obesity, musculoskeletal pain and/or diabetes.  The program is also designed to address physical deconditioning often experienced with post hospitalization and to assist patients achieve a higher level of function.

Our focus is on active rehabilitation designed to assist the patient achieve a level of health assuredness, compliance and stability; enabling the patient to continue to live independently and safely at home. The program may also  include intensive  cogntive training as well as psychotherapy. The program is designed to be fun, interesting and progressively challenging and easily incorporated in the patient’s daily routine for greater adherence and effectiveness.  Program has a focus on  facilitating self-management skills.

Criteria for Inclusion:

Candidates for this program need to be  60 years of age or older and have a mild to moderate physical or cognitive impairment. Our nurse case manager will screen the patient prior to admission to the program. Our Registered Nurse oversees treatment from admission to discharge and will communicate with the patient’s family physician. A referral from your family physician is not required.


Assessment includes clinical measures of stability (Bergs Balance Test) and Timed up and Go tests, patient report of disability mood and cognitive testing.
