Health Services

Our clinical programs combine rehabilitation with a focus on chronic disease prevention and management with a team of highly trained clinicians. This model is specifically effective for spinal injuries and disorders due to the challenge with diagnosis and management and its multi-factorial nature.

Our care model ensures that your assessment and treatment plans are evidence-based and never redundent or duplicated by our team of doctors and therapists. Our approach is directed at cost-effective management of your condition. Under the direction of our Clinical Director and Nurse Case Manager, you will be guided through your treatment plans, either onsite or offsite.

Your recovery and wellness are our first priorities. Our clinicians will facilitate you to be an active participant in your care. With the guidance of our clinical providers, you are front and centre in your treatment program. You will be discharged from care once you have achieved your treatment goals or maximal therapeutic benefit.

We will ensure flawless co-management with your family physician through our Case Management approach. Your physician will receive a report of findings and progress reports throughout the course of your care.

We believe that every patient should be given the most complete and latest information available in order to aid in treatment decisions about your care.

Our OHIP funded Physiotherapy services rely on “best practices” with a strong emphasis on patient education and self management.

Finally, our Corporate Wellness Care and Home Care Programs combine best practices, evidence, research and patient education derived from our clinical programs and extend them to the workplace and home.

Please check with your extended health plan whether a doctor’s referral is required for reimbursement for our rehab services.

Please note that the use of words “expert” and “specialty” on all SPINEgroup ® advertising does not specifically apply to physiotherapists or registered massage therapists or others providing care at our clinic; however, use of such terms, under some circumstances, is not inconsistent with Section 2 of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (“CCO”) Standard of Practice “S-016- Advertising” when it comes to the design, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based programs of care or specialty programs of individualized care of Dr. Connie D’Astolfo which may or may not involve physiotherapists, registered massage therapists or others providing care.
